Welcome to the Grow Your Blog Party!

Welcome to the party! Please look around.  All about me is in the right hand column!
I am new to blogging and just have a small handful of posts.  I hope you enjoy them and comment!
I would love to know where you are from.

Oh, and if you would like to enjoy some background music during the party, click here: TWO HOURS of Big Band - Part 2 (Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman) & then keep visiting other blogs!

Blessings and a cup of tea!

  1. Hi Heather,
So nice to meet you via the GYB party. Welcome to blogging!

  2. Hello Heather. If my son had been a daughter I would have named her Heather. My name is Judy and I love blue jeans and Jesus! But can I have coffee in my teacup?

  3. Heather, I thoroughly enjoyed browsing your blog posts. And left comments on several. We will get along marvelously. You keep your post entertaining and personal. We are similar in a lots of ways but different enough to keep it interesting. You will do well in the blogging world. Good luck in making new friend in this gyob party.

  4. Hi again! I went to 2 Bags Full and there's a long list of participating blogs. I'm just running down them now and visiting some. I'll go through the list again later.

My Aunt Shirley was big into teacups but she never let use hers because i didn't like milk in my tea.
She said I always made them hard to get the tea stains out of. lol.

  5. Oh! we still shared tea! I just had to have mine in a mug. 80)

  6. Heather,

    Very creative welcome!
I hope you gain lots of blog friends!

    Enjoy the party!

  7. Thank you for showing me a new Christian fiction author, I can't wait to read one. I love your blog and it was nice to get to know you.

  8. Hello Heather, you may not have too many blog posts up but all of the ones you have are about things I love! I love Christian historical fiction - thanks for the recommendations. Have you ever read the Red River of the North series by Lauraine Snelling? It follows the adventures of Norwegian immigrants who settle in the Dakota Territory (as it was known then). I highly recommend the series. I'm following - looking forward to getting to know you more.

  9. Hi Heather, Your blog post may be short, but that is how we all started at one point or another. I like your choice of music. Use to really like to dance to big band music in my younger days. I love to read besides doing hand embroidery. I read a variety of books and don't really have a favorite. Have fun blog hopping. Shirley@shirleystitches

  10. Hi Heather! Your photo is gorgeous! I just love those pretty little spoons :)

I hope all is well, my dear. May you have a wonderful week. Hugs! Stephanie - The Enchanting Rose

  14. Hi Heather thank you for the comment on my blog via GYB. Blogging is fun and a great way to learn about others lifestyles and hometowns too. I have recently watched Death at Pembley and will try and look out for Grantchester too, probably when it comes to DVD. cheers Wendy

  15. What a fun bit of news you share on your blog. I have looked for Downton Abbey online, but have so far been unsuccessful, except for snippets of this, that, or the other episode. The other show you mentioned sounds quite entertaining also. Where online did you find it?
Thank you for joining the party and I am so glad I decided to stop by to meet you!
